COLD LASER THERAPY

COLD LASER THERAPY

Cold lasers are a class of low level lasers which are often referred to as soft lasers, therapeutic lasers, healing lasers or low level laser therapy. They are low powered lasers which do not cut or burn the tissue; rather they work to gently donate energy or waves of photons to rejuvenate the cell.

Low level lasers are very popular because they donate energy to cells which stimulates the mitochondria or the part of the cell which makes energy which is called ATP. ATP or Adenosinetriphosphate is the energy molecule which governs 80 - 90% of the cells' activities.

The low level laser therapy is a universal method of treating muscle, tendon, ligament, connective tissue, bone and skin tissue with one simple piece of equipment, however, the best results are achieved when it is used to compliment other manual therapy techniques. It is non-invasive, drug-free, pain free and of short duration-usually 2-5 minute per treatment Cold lasers or healing lasers work in much the same way that sunlight on a garden works. The sunlight donates energy in the form of photons which in turn stimulates plants and vegetables to grow faster and more efficiently. Low level lasers work in the same way of donating photons or energy which in turn regenerates tissue and cell

PERCUSSOR

PERCUSSOR

The Percussor instrument is an assisted form of soft tissue mobilization used by a handful of clinicians and health care providers worldwide. It is used to treat pain and symptoms due to both acute and chronic conditions.

The Percussor utilizes a unique and highly specialized hand-held tool that helps to unwind tight fascia and muscles. The hand held tool works on friction and vibrations which are stroked over various parts of the body to detect and treat areas of myofascial adhesions and scar tissue.

Sports injuries are one area where the technique is especially beneficial. With many sports related injuries such as Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow, Achilles Tendinitis, Turf Toe, Pulled Hamstrings, or other conditions there are often accompanying complications such as adhesions, tight muscles, and soft tissue restrictions. This is true even after the injury has healed. The Percussor instrument can be of benefit to an athlete presently suffering with an injury or one who has suffered an injury in the past.

ADJUSTER

ADJUSTER

The Adjuster instrument allows the doctor tremendous control over all adjustment variables. It produces a succession of rapidly repeating, high velocity-low amplitude thrusts. The power of the thrusts can be changed from mere ounces of force, up to 40 pounds of thrusting force.

The rapid thrust and unique recoil produced by the adjuster activates the patient's proprioceptors and mechanoreceptors without recruiting the nocioceptors (pain receptors), providing the comfort today's patient demands.

The Adjuster Instrument produces twelve thrusts a second. It is two to three times the rate of other multiple thrust instruments. This outstanding rapidity supersaturates the target area with specific adjustive energy/ forces. The energy continues to ripple through the joint to surrounding fringe tissues. This releases secondary trigger points and sites of muscular spasm, providing the relief and corrections that doctors want. Patients typically notice a positive difference with the first treatment.

COLOR THERAPY

Color therapy is the use of color in assisting the body in its natural ability to balance itself. Practitioners of the healing arts have used color for centuries. Color serves to support our vital life force by supplying light energy to the system. Color can relieve stress, stimulate energy, alleviate pain and alter mood.

Each color corresponds to a particular area of the body as well as a particular state of mind. The cooler colors have sedative, relaxing effects, while the warmer colors are warming and stimulating. Blue lowers blood pressure, heart rate and respiration rate. Blue can make a hot room seem cooler and alleviates pain and inflammation of many kinds.

EYE LIGHTS

By stimulating the weaker side of the brain you allow it to become stronger, thus improving overall performance both mentally and physically. Eyelights can be used by anyone since everyone has one side of the brain that functions at a higher level than the other. Eyelights are being worn by children with learning disabilities in order to keep them more attentive and focused in the classroom. Athletes are wearing Eyelights to increase performance on the field or to push through a plateau. Anyone can wear Eyelights to deal more effectively with stress, depression, or neurological disorders.

SOUND THERAPY

Biosonic Repatterning, is a natural method of healing, using tuning forks. When we listen to the sound of the tuning forks our nervous system attunes to the pitch in much the same way as when we find a pitch for a choir or tune a piano. The vestibular system via the semicircular canals resets and rebalances the nervous system. During the listening process, our physical body will actually reposture itself to hold the sound correctly.

Tuning Forks can assist in the healing process to help you reach your optimum health.
